Vegan, Gluten Free Petite Cake

Whether you're hosting a party or preparing a dessert for an event, these luscious petite cakes made with our Amore di Mona Gourmet Bulk Bar are the perfect treat. Not only for chocolate lovers, these dainty cakes are vegan, free of gluten, sesame seeds, milk, tree nuts, soy, corn, dairy, and peanuts; therefore, making them a delicious option for everyone to enjoy. These decadent petite cakes are simple to serve, perfectly sweet, and absolutely satisfying.

Yields: About 2 Dozen small cakes

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup of Millet Flour

1/4 cup of Tapioca Flour

1/4 cup of Brown Rice Flour

1 cup of Beet Sugar

 

1/2 cup of Cocoa Powder

1 teaspoon of Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon of Salt

1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1/3 cup of Avocado Oil

1 teaspoon of Unfiltered Organic Apple Juice

1 cup of Cold Water

4 oz. of Amore di Mona Dark Chocolate

 

 

DIRECTIONS

1. Pre-heat the oven 350 degrees (Fahrenheit)

2. Sift dry ingredients and combine all dry ingredients into one bowl

   - Millet Flour, Tapioca Flour, Brown Rice Sugar, Beet Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Baking Soda, and Salt

3. Mix together all wet ingredients

   - Vanilla Extract, Avocado Oil, Apple juice, and Water

4. Melt Chocolate

   - if melting by microwave, melt chocolate for 10 - 15 second intervals and stir between each heating

5. Once melted, combine all ingredients and mix for 1 minute or until the mixture is rid of clumps

6. Pour into small cake molds of your desire

7. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes

8. Take out and let cool for 5 - 10 minutes

9. Decorate with Amore di Mona Chocolate and/or toppings of your desire

10. Enjoy
