Vegan Semifreddo

Cool down from the summer heat, with this delicious treat made with our luxurious Amore di Mona Gourmet Chocolate Bulk Bar. The semifreddo is a combination of decadent chocolate and smooth coffee. This creamy ice cream is the perfect dessert to indulge in this season

 

 

 

Ingredients 

 

1 can of 19oz unsalted chickpeas

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cream of tartar

3/4 cup white sugar

1 1/4 cup of coffee

6 squares of Amore di Mona Gourmet Chocolate Bulk Bar

1 large bowl of ice

1 cup of water

1 small- medium metal bowl

 

 

Begin by preparing the chocolate mousse

 

1. Take 6 squares of Amore di Mona's Gourmet Chocolate Bulk Bar

2. Chop Finely 

3. Bring coffee to a boil, and add chocolate

4. Stir throughly, until chocolate clumps are melted

 5. Combine water with large bowl of ice

6. Place chocolate mousse into small/ medium metal bowl

7. Place the chocolate mouse bowl into the large ice bowl

8. Stir until chocolate mousse thickens

9. Once the mixture has thickened refrigerate until later use

 

Next Prepare the aquafaba

 

10. First drain the can of chickpea, keep the liquid from the can. Set aside the chickpeas

11. use a mixer to stir rapidly, add in 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp cream of tartar, and slowly add 3/4 cup white sugar

12. Mix until the liquid becomes thick

 

Combine Mousse and Aquafaba

 

13. Combine, and stir mixtures together thoroughly 

14. Place in a container of your choice for freezing and put in freezer for 2-4 hours

15. Scoop, serve, and enjoy
