Florentine au Chocolat

Gluten-free, allergy friendly, and made using our Amore di Mona Luxury Dark Chocolate Bulk Bar, these Florentine au Chocolat cookies are simple, delicious, and sure to be a favorite treat.

 

Lace Florentine Cookies

 

Ingredients:

 

2/3 cup gluten free oat flour (processed gluten free oats)

3 tbsp sweet rice flour

¼ tsp salt

¾ cup sugar

1 tsp pumpkin spice

2 tbsp hemp milk

2 tbsp agave

1/8 cup safflower oil

½ tbsp. vanilla

 

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  3. Combine flours, salt, sugar and spice into a bowl.

  4. Bring milk, agave, oil and vanilla to a boil, once boiling, remove from heat and add flour mixture, stir till combined.

  5. Let mixture cool down for 20 minutes or until thickens up.

  6. Scoop batter onto prepared sheet tray about 4 inches apart, account for spreading.

  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

  8. Melt 

*shape as wanted once set up slightly.

 

 

Chocolate Drizzle:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces (one square) Amore di Mona Bulk Bar (more if desired)

 

Tools you'll need:

 

- A microwave-safe bowl

- A heat-proof spatula

 

Method:

  1. Chop chocolate from Bulk Bar into small pieces. Place into a microwave-safe bowl. Glass is best.

  2. Microwave chocolate for TEN SECONDS. Never heat for longer than ten seconds.

  3. Remove bowl and stir chocolate very well. 

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until chocolate is mostly melted. Stir out any remaining lumps. 

  5. Drizzle on Lace Florentine Cookies
